Overview And Experience

Ryan Lipella’s path to becoming a personal injury attorney started far from South Florida.

Born in Hagerstown, Maryland and raised in the small town of Smithsburg, Ryan grew up in a community where relationships mattered, reputations were earned, and people looked out for one another. Those values continue to shape his approach to practicing law today.

After graduating from the University of South Carolina and later Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, Ryan spent more than eleven years representing insurance companies and became a partner at his prior law firm. During that time, he gained extensive experience evaluating claims, litigating cases, working with adjusters, and understanding exactly how insurance companies assess and defend injury claims.

While that experience provided invaluable insight, Ryan eventually realized that the aspect of law he enjoyed most was helping people.

Today, Ryan uses his defense-side experience to advocate for injured individuals and families. He understands where insurance companies discount claims, what arguments influence case value, and how to effectively present a client’s story.

For Ryan, personal injury law is about more than medical records and settlement negotiations. It is about people.

Whether helping a client navigate a difficult recovery, answering questions during a stressful time, or fighting for fair compensation, Ryan believes every client deserves to be treated as an individual—not a claim number.

When he’s not practicing law, Ryan can usually be found on a golf course, traveling with his wife Liz, attending sporting events, supporting local charities, or organizing gatherings with family and friends. He is a founding board member of the David Strong for Families Foundation and remains actively involved in charitable efforts throughout the community.

Ryan believes that relationships are life’s greatest asset, and that philosophy guides both his personal life and his legal practice.
